Mooring inspection & service · Morro Bay

Know what’s
holding your boat.

I inspect your mooring from the buoy down, service worn tackle as needed, and document the condition and work performed—all in the same visit.

01 Inspect & measure
02 Service in the same visit
03 Reset & document

I. One visit, start to finish

More than an inspection.

The goal is not simply to find problems. I inspect and measure the tackle, service what needs attention, put the mooring back where it belongs, and document the finished job.

See inspections & service

I arrive stocked for normal mooring service, so worn tackle can usually be taken care of during the inspection.

  1. Inspect & measure

I dive the mooring and hoist the tackle as needed to inspect the chain, shackles, swivels, pendants, buoy connections, and underwater components.

  2. Service what needs attention

If components are worn, I carry the tackle and hardware needed for normal service so they can be replaced during the inspection rather than leaving you with another job to schedule.

  3. Reset & document

The mooring is properly reinstalled, any block moved during the work is returned to its proper location, and you receive a record of what I found and what was done.

II. A note from your inspector

One person responsible for the whole job.

I’m David. I handle the scheduling, inspection, servicing, documentation, and follow-up myself. The person you call is the same person who gets in the water and does the work.

And if you have a question before or after the inspection, I’m easy to reach by phone, text, or email.
